The third week of the 2015 NFL preseason games will see the San Francisco 49ers facing off with the Denver Broncos on Saturday (August 29) at 1:00 pm (MHT). The Week 3 preseason match of the two NFL teams will feature the Broncos playing host to the 49ers at the Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver. Should the performances of the Broncos and the 49ers be used as basis to predict which NFL team would go home victories in this 2015 preseason match, then the Peyton Manning-led team are contenders for the prize.
Denver is coming in the 2015 NFL preseason match against San Francisco with a 14 - 0 with over the Houston Texans in Week 2 despite Tom Savage coming off as the passing leader. Sports analysts observed that teams typically regard the games in the third week of the preseason as a reliable reference to how the incoming 2015 NFL regular season will play out. The first two games of the Broncos actually saw quarterback Peyton Manning clock in more minutes than Colin Kaepernick of 49ers fame - a move not usually followed by NFL teams as starting players are generally played only once or twice during the NFL preseason matches.
The game of the Broncos against the Texans in the past week showed off Manning recording 14 passes while Kaepernick only had eight passes in the San Francisco 49ers match against the Dallas Cowboys. With this in mind, it remains to be seen whether or not Denver will once again play Manning in the match against San Francisco as the quarterback appears to have reached the maximum number of games played by starters in the NFL preseason.
Meanwhile, the 49ers will also come in the match against the Broncos with a 23 - 6 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. While the result of the NFL preseason match against the Cowboys showed that the49ers are pretty strong contenders in winning the prize in the match against the Broncos this coming weekend, sports analysts pointed out that the Kaepernick-led team struggled during the match. Although tho 49ers held off the Cowboys to merely 257 all-purpose yards, the former only achieved a measly 205 yards with 155 yards recorded on the ground.
