NBA Rumors: Los Angeles Clippers' Paul Pierce, DeAndre Jordan Take Off Minutes From Jamal Crawford

The Los Angeles Clippers have been one of the most notable NBA teams in the basketball community. Although the Chris Paul squad lucked out in the previous NBA season, it looks like fans and followers of the Los Angeles Clippers could look forward to a strong showing from the team this time around. With the noteworthy addition of Paul Pierce in the NBA team, along with the re-signing of DeAndre Jordan, the Los Angeles Clippers are considered strong contenders in the Western Conference - with some sports analysts going as far as claiming that the group could dethrone the Golden State Warriors. However, one of the veteran NBA stars in the Los Angeles Clippers has been the topic of trade rumors since the offseason started: Jamal Crawford.

With roughly three years in the Los Angeles Clippers roster, Jamal Crawford has been considered as one of the basketball vets in the NBA team. It appears though that his stay in the team with Paul Pierce, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan has the possibility of getting cut short soon as news regarding his potential trade to other NBA teams keep cropping up. With training camp set to start in a few days, the Los Angeles Clippers point guard still has no certainty with regard his future in the NBA team. "There were some stressful points, and there were some points where I was like, 'You know what, it's part of the business,'" shared Jamal Crawford, referring to the rumors that had placed him in the spotlight as the Los Angeles Clippers reportedly eye possible transfers for him in a trade with the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers or the Dallas Mavericks, according to FOX Sports.

Although the trade rumors concerning Jamal Crawford are yet to be resolved, the upcoming NBA season might see less minutes from the veteran point guard. With the entry of Paul Pierce in the Los Angeles Clippers, it would be an interesting combination to have Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan work their magic in the hardwood court - a fact that Jamal Crawford himself appears to have acknowledged and accepted. "I think it will be a lot of sacrifice, obviously, to sacrifice minutes, whatever it may be," stated Jamal Crawford, referring to the things he might have to forego this NBA season in the name of the goals set by the Los Angeles Clippers, according to Los Angeles Daily News. The NBA star went on to say, "Your common goal has to be winning."
