Bethesda Softworks recently confirmed Fallout 4 release date details. This came around the same week as video five in the S.P.E.C.I.A.L video series. Fallout 4 will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

When is Fallout 4 Coming Out?

Officially, the Fallout 4 release date falls on November 10 at 12:01am ET. Those living on the West Coast will need to remember to take the three-hour time difference into account. Hence, the West Coast release date is at around 9pm PT on November 9.

Hardcore fans may covet physical copies of Fallout 4, and that is understandable. For now, only Best Buy confirmed plans to host late night Fallout 4 opening events at select locations in the United States. Be sure to check Best Buy's website to find the location nearest you.

Another way to acquire the game on release day is to purchase the digital pre-order via Microsoft and Amazon - if preloading is available. Though this option has not been confirmed, it is likely to occur given the popularity of this title. Please keep in mind that the game requires anywhere between 28-35 GB of free space.

Fortunately for most overseas gamers, Bethesda is planning to release Fallout 4 at November 10 at 12:01am local time in most territories. Unfortunately, players in Asia will need to wait until November 11 at 12:01am local.

S.P.E.C.I.A.L Video Five Newly Released

Last week, Bethesda released video five in a humorous instructional video series to prepare players for the world of Fallout 4. In the latest installment, players will learn about using "intelligence" survival skills.

The video starts out with the narrator reminding gamers that "survival of the smartest" is an asset that is just as important as being physically strong.

We see Fallout's iconic mascot wandering the wasteland while wearing dunce cap. He happens upon a vault with the label "opportunity." The narrator points out that "an empty mind is a vessel for knowledge" and "intelligence is the key to unlocking opportunities". Using his newfound knowledge, the mascot unlocks robots and creates new weapons.

Eventually, there will be seven videos in the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. series.
