In case you are still wondering what happened to Lamar Odom, the former NBA reality basketball star was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel and is hospitalized. While he remains in critical condition, his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian and children are by his hospital bed at a Nevada hospital.

"Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. We are here with our family and friends," Odom's two children, daughter Destiny, 17, and son Lamar Jr., 13, said in a statement to Us Weekly. "We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers."

According to authorities, Lamar used cocaine on his first day at the brothel Saturday, and a woman said she also saw him take 10 herbal supplement tablets over three days, on a 911 call played at a news conference. The tablets were later revealed as sexual performance-enhanced drugs.

The 35-year-old basketball player spent a third day hospitalized on Thursday, reportedly on life support following a series of strokes.

The Kardashian family is asking for support and prayers for Odom. Kourtney Kardashian shared a photo of him hugging their daughter Destiny.

"Believing in the power of prayer for this beautiful soul," she wrote on Facebook.

Franklin Graham, president of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse ministries, also took to Facebook to offer prayers and some advice to young men amid the heartbreaking situation.

"Listen up, young men. I'm a father and a grandfather, and I want to give you some advice. Former NBA star Lamar Odom was looking for something at a brothel in Nevada, something to ease the pain and void deep inside his heart. Instead, it has devastated his life," Graham wrote.

"The truth is-the only One that can heal the pain in a human heart is Jesus Christ. Drugs can't do it, sex can't do it, money can't do it, nothing or no one else can do it. I want you to know that God made you and He loves you," he continued. "He wants to give you life, peace, and hope-and the only way is through trusting in His Son, Jesus Christ. God's Word warns, "Now then, my sons, listen to me; pay attention to what I say. Do not let your heart turn to her (a prostitute's) ways or stray into her paths. Many are the victims she has brought down; her slain is a mighty throng" (Proverbs 7:24-26)."

Graham concluded, "I am praying for ‪#‎LamarOdom and his family."

Khloe has also arranged for Odom's kids and ex-girlfriend Liza Morales to fly from New York to Las Vegas. Prior to Odom's marriage to Khloe, the former Lakers player dated Morales for over 10 years and had a son named Jayden, who died at the age of 6 months from SIDS in 2006, according to Us Magazine.
