Pokémon Z and Pokémon GO Release Dates; Coming Sooner Than Later?

Nov 05, 2015 12:01 PM EST

Fans of the Pokémon franchise who love the video games might be in for some good news, assuming that it is true.  Right now, there is a lot of misinformation going around about Pokémon Z and Pokémon GOPokémon Z, the long-awaited follow-up to Pokémon X and Y, still has yet to have a formal announcement of its official release date, but fan build-up has kept rumors of this game alive for years.  As for Pokémon GO, the location-based game or hunting Pokémon in real-life locations, this has been formally announced, but the actual release date has not.  Should the evidence be believed, Pokémon fans might have reason to believe these Pokémon games are coming sooner rather than later.

Realty Today has been reporting news that Pokémon fans will really want to hear as they claim that Pokémon GO is slated for release next month.  This is odd, because most reports pointed for a release date of sometime in 2016, and it seems like a project as ambitious as this would take a lot more time to complete since its initial announcement just this year.

Vine Report says that with Pokémon GO will be another application known as Pokémon GO Plus.  This application will serve as a compliment for the application as the device can be brought along elsewhere, similar to a wrist watch.  The official Pokémon GO application can function without the device, but Pokémon GO Plus helps serve as a handy device where the player can check the application at just a glance at the watch.

There has also been some news on the Pokémon Z front.  It has been three years since Pokémon X and Y were released, and fans have been clamoring for something new since then.   One thing that has been stated about Pokémon Z is that not only will it have one legendary character but 2 more, as Zygarde will be joined by Xerneas and Yveltal, both legendary characters from the last two iterations of Pokémon.

It should be known that the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine disclosed some information about the Pokémon X and Y games, but details of Pokémon Z will need to wait until next month.

As said before, a lot of the information about Pokémon GO and Pokémon Z have to be taken with a grain of salt.  This would be a good time to make a disclaimer and say that this article was written from other sources, and they seem to contradict information about both Pokémon Z and Pokémon GO that the Gospel Herald has written about before

However, we have both reported that Junichi Masuda, the Pokémon games director, is set to appear on the Japanese television show Pokémon Get TV next month.  So it is possible that by next month fans of the Pokémon franchise will have their answers as far as the release dates of Pokemon GO and Pokémon Z are concerned.
