Zoolander came out in 2001, but for those old enough to remember the fashion parody will be excited to know that a sequel will be coming out 15 years after Derek and Hansel first took the catwalk and the fashion world by storm.

The Daily Mail reports that Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are excited to reprise their roles as male fashion models Derek Zoolander and Hansel McDonald.

It can be remembered that Derek and Hansel were the original "Metrosexuals" before the term even came out and that they were the original trendsetters for the "selfie" long before smart phones were even in circulation.

Plus, one of the more interesting spoiler leaks on the upcoming sequel is that Justin Bieber will be expected to make a cameo appearance. For many of the original film's fans, Derek+Hansel+Bieber = loads of laughs.

The film production outfit Paramount came out with two posters this week for Zoolander 2, the sequel that is targeted to be released in February 2016. The tagline is "Long Time No Z."

Other stars who are expected to take part in the movie are Will Ferrell, Christine Taylor (Stiller's wife), Kristen Wiig, Penelope Cruz, Billy Zane and cameos from Bieber and Kanye West.

And another surprising tidbit here is the fact that the Zoolander sequel will be written by Jennifer Aniston's husband, Justin Theroux. The original film was co-written by Stiller. Stiller based the main character on one he created for the 1996 VH1 Fashion Awards.

Derek is a ridiculous fashion model who is afraid of getting washed up in his career. Hansel is his career rival, but the two end up being friends and partners in the end and are both embroiled in a nasty situation involving politics and corrupt politicians.

The Guardian also reports that this new Zoolander remake is bound to remind old audiences the Blue Steel look - a kind of pose that involves sucked in cheeks and a severe pout. A look that is common on most celebrity selfies on Instagram. This is an opportunity to give Stiller the credit he deserves for inventing this iconic albeit silly look.

Despite the fact that the Zoolander movie will take a few months before its release date, producers have done a good job promoting it earlier this year. In March, Derek and Hansel were on the Valentino runway show at Paris Fashion Week.

In June, they filmed scenes at the Valentino store in Rome. And on Monday, Derek was in a wacky video that promoted Bieber's new album Purpose.
