XBox Games With Gold Free Games November 2015 and Predictions For December 2015; Reverse Compatibility And 10th Anniversary of Xbox 360 Bringing Christmas Surprises?

Every month, Subscribers of Xbox Games with Gold eagerly await what free games will be available for the month.  November is about to wrap itself up with Thanksgiving and Black Friday, so many are wondering what free games will be available for December 2015.  Here are some predictions of what Microsoft Xbox Games with Gold games could be available for December 2015.

According to Product Reviews, the Xbox Games with Gold for December 2015 is going to be quite different as it will be the first month of Games with Gold after the launch of backwards compatibility with the system.  Those with the Xbox One will benefit as not only will they get two free games for the month, but there will be two games made available on the Xbox 360 will be enjoyed on the Xbox One.  With four free games, Xbox One users are getting quite a deal.

The smart move for Microsoft is to bring out another AAA game for December, even if it is for the Xbox 360.  Speaking of the 360, Microsoft's most successful home console has turned 10 years old, according to Yahoo Games.  Considering how much hype that the Xbox 360 got over the years until its eventual replacement with the Xbox One, it would be terrific if some Microsoft-owned property got its way into the Xbox 360 for the holidays.

For example, it wouldn't be too difficult for a Halo game to arrive for free, but honestly, most Xbox gamers already have every episode in the series.  Offering a Halo game for free would be like offering a good game that users already purchased a year or two ago.

Microsoft usually has an agenda when offering its free games.  For example, when it was announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider would have Xbox exclusivity for 2015, it just made sense for the company to put out the original Tomb Raider reboot as one of their free Games with Gold offerings.  That way, players will play the original for free and then be motivated to play the sequel.

We have predicted in a previous article that signs point to Mirror's Edge.  There is a sequel to this game coming in 2016 called Mirror's Edge Catalyst, and it just makes sense to have this game available for consumers before that, maybe for free.

In the meantime, there are a lot of November games still available to play such as Knight Squad free for the Xbox One from November 16th to December 15th.  The website for this game describes Knight Squad as an 8 players top-down Bomberman meets Gauntlet game, with crazy sword fights where one hit is enough to take anyone down.

Pneuma: Breath of Life will also be available for free from November 1st to the 30th one the Xbox One.   Pneuma: Breath of Life has a surreal look to it that is reminiscent of games like Myst, and should be fun for those that love RPG style games.

The second game on the Xbox 360 for this month, Dungeon Siege III, is available from November 16-30.  This game, first released in 2011 by Obsidian Entertainment and Square Enix, is an action role-playing game (RPG) about four characters with different backstories who must journey into an open world and fulfill quests for the control of Ehb.

As for what specific games will be available in December 2015, that remains a mystery, but next week (at the latest) should be the time when they are officially revealed.
