Apple Inc. is doing their best to beef up the security systems of their devices, but not all security measures are impossible to decipher. Hackers announced they could release the jailbreak tools for iOS 9.1 before the end of December. Also, Apple just released iOS 9.2 earlier this week. Now, we'll give the latest updates about the Apple gadgets.

Let's talk about jailbreak first. Apple users are expecting hacking groups like Team Taig to release jailbreak software for the iOS 9.1 and 9.2 anytime soon. The only available jailbreaking software is from Pangu. However, it is not yet fully functional.

Pangu, one of the biggest jailbreak teams together with TaiG, has been the most successful among development teams in the past in releasing updated jailbreak versions for Apple devices.

The semi-jailbreak tool from Pangu is released two months ago, but users are reluctant to install it as it might damage their devices. For interested users, here are the steps to install the jailbreak software.

For the first step, visit Pangu's official jailbreak website using Safari browser. After that, bookmark the page. In case the installation process crashed, this will protect your phone from damage and the process could also restart automatically.

Select the iOS 9.1 jailbreak button and let your iOS version be verified. Tap the continue button, and it will initiate the jailbreak process. Wait for 20 to 40 seconds until the process is complete.

Before the jailbreak is over, you'll be redirected to the installation menu to install the Semi Jailbreak application to your device. After the installation process, tap the exit button and this will conclude the jailbreak installation.

Jailbreaking is described as the process of penetrating the phone's security features to unlock the restrictions imposed by manufacturers on devices. Users can also install previously unavailable apps from hackers if they have jailbreak software.

Apple users with jailbreak software can use the vShare Semi jailbreak app manager to install the Cydia, the jailbreak app store. It offers apps that are not available on Apple App Store.

For the jailbreak team TaiG, they are reportedly busy working on their own version and are expected to come out with the jailbreak after the iOS 9.2 release.

Meanwhile, here is the latest news about iOS 9.2 courtesy of Forbes. The operating system is compatible with the iPhone 4S or later, iPad 2 or later, iPad mini or later, iPad Pro and 5th generation iPod touch or later. It has a size of 250MB, and Apple users can choose to upgrade to it automatically or not.

For Apple Music, the latest interface brings a boatload of user interface tweaks to the slowly improving app. Best are the 'Download' button to save songs for offline listening. Users can now also see a breakdown of composers, performers and works in the classical music section.

In Safari, iOS 9.2 brings a tweak to the 'Safari View Controller' which allows it to support the third party Action Extensions. The Safari View Controller also now supports a long press of the reload button to load content without ads blocked and a desktop page view.
