Fans of the Pokémon franchise have been eagerly awaiting the release of two games. The first game is the long-awaited follow-up to Pokémon X and Y, which really hasn't been formally announced and is just known as Pokémon Z. The second game is Pokémon GO, and this mobile-based location game has been formally announced, and it is just as eagerly awaited. There hasn't really been a formal announcement of the Release Date for Pokémon Z or Pokémon GO, but it was hoped that it would be here before 2015 ended, which is very soon.
At this point, it doesn't look like Pokémon Z or Pokémon GO will be out before this year. Unless it comes out in between this time in between Christmas and New Year's Day, it won't. That week is a terrible time to release any product, honestly.
So far, the latest news of Pokémon Z hasn't really changed. In the month of December, many fans were looking forward to the release of CoroCoro magazine, which would apparently reveal more about Pokémon Z. Fans were underwhelmed as they saw forms of the Zygarde that include the Cell Core, 10 percent form, 50 percent form, and a complete form.
The only thing that made the complete form stand out was it had two different colors of red and blue on its wings, and many believe that the Zygarde is actually the product of two different Zygarde (one red and one blue). In other words, the Zygarde is a fusion of two creatures.
In addition to the rumors of this Pokémon Z being released before the end of this year, there was a rumor that Pokémon GO would be released with it as a free download. This would imply that there will be an initial price for Pokémon GO by the time it gets released.
It might be a better plan to release Pokémon GO for free, but charge a lot for DLC (downloadable content). The game is a location-based which involves the users going to real-life places to find certain things. There are reports that it will be hard to locate a Pokémon Gym, and that those who live around water will be able to find water-based Pokémon. There will be a system of exchange for those who want to find more, but there could be a Pokémon market within Pokémon GO so players can just buy the Pokémon or accessories that they want with real money or some in-game token economy.
In other words, there really hasn't been any updates as far as Pokémon Z or Pokémon GO is concerned. It is very clear that some word needs to come out with these games as there is a huge fanbase just waiting for a word from the Pokémon company about them.
