According to game director Eiji Aonuma, the latest installment in the Zelda franchise is being developed for the Wii U platform, and fans should expect it to have game's traditions, for example, the players completing dungeons in a particular set of order.
Some fans believed there could be significant additions to Link's equipment. For example, Link's current sword seems to be a bigger sword than the previous episodes. At best, it could be larger than Biggoron's Sword, or the Fierce Deity Sword. His bow also appears to be an improved version of what was shown in the teaser.
"The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" bundle is now available for pre-orders in many gaming retailers such as GameStop and Best Buy.
The creators confirmed the launching of the game during the Nintendo Direct briefing last November. The Legend of Zelda franchise celebrated its 30th-anniversary last year.
The creator's announcement about the game's release apparently gave euphoria to Zelda fans everywhere around the globe.
Previously, the game was slated to launch in 2015. However, it was later delayed to 2016, in part because Nintendo found that "several new possibilities" could be added to the game for a better gaming experience on Wii U.
Meanwhile, Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima recently launched a new product called amiibo -- Nintendo characters that come in figure or card form that is compatible with the company's video games.
"Our endeavors will not be limited to video games," Nintendo President said in a published statement from Express.co.uk. The company also plans to put new attractions at theme parks by using Nintendo characters.
Aside the Legend of Zelda game, Nintendo is set to release major titles this year. Expect Hyrule Warriors Legends to become available on Nintendo 3DS in the first quarter of 2016. The game features the fiercest enemies from The Legend of Zelda.
