"NBA 2k16" might be pleased to know that a new set of locker codes might be released after the "Dub the Vote" event. A new set of codes may certainly make a lot of players happy, who are already giddy enough because they currently get to enjoy some special locker codes released back in December. The codes released before the previous year ended are available for the whole month of January.
While there are still no confirmed reports, there are rumors that more special locker codes will be released after the "Dub the Vote" event this month. It is also expected that more codes will be released for other holidays such as Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day.
Last December, the game developer revealed several special locker codes such as holiday and Marvel-themed jerseys through their Twitter account. Some of the most notable codes are for the legendary NBA players, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal, Karl Malone, Isaiah Thomas, and Larry Bird. Here are their codes:

Apart from the locker codes, the "NBA 2K16" also received its fourth patch back in December. The patch introduced some significant changes on the general gameplay, as well as in the MyCareer and MyLeague models. The patch, with a size of 2.4GB, was designed to fix a lag issue that gamers complained about before when they edit and apply tattoos on their characters, Master Herald reports.
The patch was also intended to fix the problem encountered by players with the possession camera in the 2K cam on the PC.
Aside from these codes and the new patch, 2K Sports have been calling on players to report whatever problems they have with the game as well as to give their feedback on their playing experience. This is to ensure the game can be improved further. While the game has been doing so well, the developer believes that it can be made even better. Just a month after its official release, the game was able to become the second best-selling video game in the US, next to "Halo 5: Guardians," an exclusive game for Xbox One consoles.
It comes as no surprise that "NBA 2k16" is doing so well. Its predecessor, "NBA 2K15" was ranked the top-selling game in October 2014 after all.
