Grammy Awards 2016 TV Schedule and Live Stream: Nominees, Performances And Details

The 58th Grammy Awards, considered as the most anticipated music event of the year, is all set to premiere later this week. And, with just a few days before it goes live, more details about its high-profile performance, nominees and other features are already starting to come out.

Headlining the musical acts for this year's Grammay Awards are Justin Bieber, Adele, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, Pitbull, Tori Kelly, and the cast members of the Broadway production "Hamilton," NJ.com reported.

Johnny Depp along with his Hollywood Vampires bandmates Alice Cooper and Joe Perry will also perform to pay tribute to Lemmy Kilmister, the former the former frontman of heavy metal group Motorhead, who passed away on Dec. 28, 2015, due to cancer. Aside from Kilmister, a tribute for the iconic David Bowie will also be performed by Lady Gaga.

Similar performances will also be carried out by the late artists B.B. King and Glenn Frey by Crhsi Stapleton, Gary Clark JR., Bonnie Raitt, Joe Walsh, Bernie Leadon, Timothy B. Smith, Jackson Brown and Don Henley.

John Legend is also set to play a medley of Lionel Richie's songs along with Luke Bryan, Demi Lovagto and Meghan Trainor.

As for the nominees, Lamar, Taylor Swift and the Alabama Shakes will battle it out for the album of the year. On the other hand, the category for best song of the year includes "Alright" from Lamar, Swift's "Blank Space," "Girl Crush" by Little Big Town, Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" and "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth.

This year's awards program is also looking to honor the best new artist among Courtney Barnett, James Bay, Sam Hunt, Tori Kelly and Megan Trainor.

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards will take place on Feb. 15 and will be broadcasted live by CBS at 8 p.m. ET. It will be hosted by rapper and actor LL Cool J. But, for those who will not be able to watch it on TV, they can still view it via live streaming on the Live.grammy.com site.
