Xbox Live With Gold Free Games for April 2016 Predictions and List for Xbox One and Xbox 360

In just a few days March will be over which means Xbox Live Gold members will receive another set of free games. There are rumors that say Microsoft might release popular games, instead of unheard-of-titles or indie games. Now, here's our prediction for Xbox Games with Gold for April 2016.

Microsoft has not yet released the official lineup of games for April, but the gaming company promised earlier in March that they would offer big and popular games. A post from the official Twitter account of Xbox teased fans on what to expect this April.

"Next: up April blockbusters," Sony wrote on Twitter.

After reading the tweet, some fans send their game requests to the gaming company. Will Xbox grant those requests? We'll find out next month.

In the past few months, Sony only released a bunch of indie and not-so-popular titles, leading some members of Xbox Live Gold to ignore the games. Interestingly, Microsoft might make it up to the players by offering something big next month.

Also, Xbox is lagging behind PlayStation in terms of the quality of games being offered in premium programs. So, the blockbuster titles promised by Microsoft in April might heat up the competition between the two gaming platforms.

Several gamers discussed rumors and predictions about Xbox Live in a Reddit thread.  Among the popular games suggested by Reddit users are Zoo Tycoon, Need for Speed: Rivals, Battlefield 4, Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza 5 and Titanfall. Additionally, some of the best games that the Xbox Live program offered are Halo 5: Guardians, Forza Motorsport 6, and Rise of the Tomb Raider

For now, Lord of the Fallen is the only game that is included in the April lineup.

Meanwhile, Xbox Live Gold members can still access these games:

Xbox One

Lords of the Fallen - The game is available until April 15. This action RPG game offers thrilling and challenging gameplay. It also features action-packed combos and mystical spells.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments - The game is playable until March 30. It features visually stunning graphics and mind-bending gameplay. The title costs $30 at retailers, but Xbox Live Gold members can play it for free.

Xbox 360

Borderlands - The game is free until March 31. It features numerous weapons, item drops and character customizations. Players can also choose plenty of missions in the game. Some say Borderlands is the most interesting game available this month. Xbox One owners can also play the title, thanks to backwards compatibility.
