The much-anticipated NCAA March Madness Final Four is coming this weekend. Expect Oklahoma Sooners, Villanova Wildcats, The North Carolina Tar Heels and Syracuse Orange to give their best shot to reach the top. Now, here's how you can watch the Final Four games online, plus details about the start time, television channel and previews.
The Final Four games will be broadcasted live on TBS on Saturday, April 2.
The first matchup is Oklahoma Sooners vs. Villanova Wildcats, which will start at 6:09 p.m. The game is a battle between No. 2 seeded teams that defeated No.1 seeded teams. In the Elite Eight, the Wildcats defeated Kansas Jayhawks and the Sooners topped Oregon Ducks.
Also, both Wildcats and Sooners are led by their respective senior captains. Ryan Arcidiacono of Villanova lifted his team all the way to the Final Four. For Oklahoma, it's Buddy Hield, a fan-favorite for this year's this Naismith Trophy.
The second matchup is the game between North Carolina Tar Heels and Syracuse Orange. The battle between two Atlantic Coast Conference teams will start at 8:49 p.m. In the regular season, North Carolina defeated the Orange two times, but anything can happen in March Madness. No. 10 Syracuse will try to pull off an upset against a No. 1 seeded team.
According to the Verge, fans who own a Samsung Gear VR device can watch the games live in virtual reality. VR headset users will be able to watch each game from a courtside perspective by getting the NCAA March Madness Live app in the Oculus Store.
The Gear VR online streaming will only feature 180-degrees, instead of full 360-degree sphere. For fans that don't have a Gear VR, the NCAA will offer a 2D version of the 180-degree stream on the web. Interestingly, the online stream will have a comprehensive live commentary from the TBS sports analysts, and fans will have the option to see a virtual scoreboard with live statistics while watching the game.
As we mentioned earlier, TBS and CBS will broadcast the events live. Also, watch the games online on NCAA's official website.
The Final Four games will take place at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Fans from all across the country will gather on the Space City to pack the stadium, which has a seating capacity of 72,220.
The winners of Saturday's game will face other on Monday, April 4.
