According to the cast members of the television series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," the show will tie-in with the events in the upcoming Marvel film "Captain America: Civil War." In addition, they confirmed that more Inhuman characters will be introduced in the show's future episodes.

The stars of the show made the revelations during a panel discussion at WonderCon 2016. During the session, cast members and producers of the show discuss what fans can expect in the series' future.

Probably one of the main highlights of the discussion is how the series will be affected by "Captain America: Civil War. As noted by Ming-Na Wen, who plays S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot and weapons expert Melinda Way, the film will have some impact as that of "Captain America: Winter Soldier."

Chloe Bennet, who portrays Daisy Johnson, added that throughout the course of the show, the characters have been tackling issues related to "Civil War," which primarily focuses on the division of the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D.

Executive producer Jeph Loeb, on the other hand, gave a more detailed answer regarding the tie-in. According to him, the series, like the upcoming film, will tackle the issue regarding the management of individuals with super powers.

"The outcome of what happens in that film...it is a movie where, at its core, is about dealing with what to do with powered people," he told Super Hero Hype. "Should they be contained? Should they be government sponsored? That kind of thing."

"It is by no small coincidence that that is what this season has been about," he added. "We were a show that started out with the slogan, 'Not all heroes are super.' Yet, now they are. Daisy Johnson is now part of our core team. As we have seen, not everyone on the show is cool with that."

As for the show itself, Henry Simmons, who plays Mack MacKenzie, confirmed that more inhumans will be introduced during the course of the season. However, he did not go into detail regarding what powers they possess or what their names are.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is currently in its third season and its next episode, titled "Spacetime," will come out on April 5. The film "Captain America: Civil War," on the other hand, will premiere on April 12 followed by an international release on April 27.
