Speculations are now running high about the next game in the Call of Duty franchise. Latest reports say Call of Duty: Infinite War will feature 10 maps and a bunch of new in-game additions. Plus, Modern Warfare will be remastered for next-generation consoles.

Here's what is currently known about Call of Duty: Infinite War release date, features and rumors on the web.

IGN reported there is a thread in NeoGaf that discusses the next Call of Duty game called Infinite Warfare. The website also said there's a preorder poster for Infinite Warfare that suggests what could be its contents.

The poster shows a soldier wearing some kind of flight gear behind aircraft/spacecraft. It also reveals the release date of the game, which is Nov. 4. Industry experts this timeline matches the usual launch date of Call of Duty games.

Aside from confirming the title of next Call of Duty, the poster also reveals that Infinite Warfare has "Legacy edition" that contains a remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Rumors suggest the Modern Warfare Remastered wil be available for digital download, and the Legacy Edition will cost around $109.99.

GameRant reported the revamped shooter game would only offer a total of ten multiplayer map, which is lesser than the original Modern Warfare. The 2007 version of the game has 20 multiplayer maps.  Some gamers believe that the reduced map locations could be due to the difficulty of fully remastering all of the 20 maps in the first Modern Warfare.

It is also interesting to take note that recent remastered games were released with reduced map selections. For example, Halo 2: Anniversary became available with 6 remastered multiplayer maps.

For now, the evidences for Infinite Warfare look to be legitimate. A report from Techno Buffalo claims Activision will reveal the game on May 3. However, if details about the game continue to leak, it wouldn't be surprising to see Activision spill the details on the game early.

With that said, let's wait and see if Call Of Duty: Infinite War will be announced next week.

While waiting for the release of next Call of Duty, let's check out what reviewers say about the current Call of Duty: Black Ops III.  GameSpot praised the game's multiplayer map design and rewarding cooperative experience. In addition, Black Ops III is the biggest and most feature-packed game in the series.
