Fans of HBO's "Game of Thrones," especially those who have been following the series since season one, saw how Jason Momoa's character Khal Drogo got killed off. But, it seems the character could make a comeback in season 6 as teased by the actor.

Through Instagram posts, Momoa hinted that his character, the former warlord of the Dothraki people might return and reunite with his wife Daenery's Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke.

In the posts, the actor included snapshots from the first episode of season 6 that shows Targaryen talker to her captor Khal Moro.

"I was wife to Khal Drogo, son of Khal Barbo," Targaryen said in the screenshots. "And I will bear no children, for you, or anyone else."

Momoa then captioned the photo "My baby holding it down. Greatest show in the world. So happy for all my friends. Miss u see u soon."

Aside from telling his other cast members that he will see them soon, the actor also gave a shout out to David Benioff and Dan Weiss, the creators of the television series, by telling them that he will see them in Ireland.

This strongly suggests that Momoa might fly out to Ireland to join the filming of "Game of Thrones." Although this could lead fans to conclude that his character might return, Independent noted that this might only happen in the form of Targaryen's dream or vision.

After all, after Drogo was poisoned in the first season, his body was cremated, which rules out the possibility of a physical resurrection. And, if his character does return, Momoa might only appear in a couple of episodes since given the actor's current status, he doesn't seem to have the luxury to work on the entire season.

Following the success of "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice," Momoa might become too busy working on the "Aquaman" standalone film and eventually the "Justice League" movie project to devote his time on "Game of Thrones."

Still, it would be interesting to see Drogo return to the series even for only a brief period since the way Momoa delivered his character instantly made him a fan-favorite.
