Nvidia announced the GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 will be released this month. The American tech company ensure that the features of their new GPUs will elevate the gaming experience of its users. Now, here's the latest round up of update about Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Release date and specs.

The two upcoming Nvidia graphic cards will be released separately. According to a PC Advisor report, GeForce GTX 1080 will be available in the market on May 27, while GeForce GTX 1070 will be available on June 10. There is no explanation why their release dates are different.

Furthermore, there are reports that the new graphic cards will be more powerful than GTX Titan X. According to Tech Times, GTX 1080 doubles the performance of GeForce GTX Titan X, which is still the top dog until the launch of upcoming GTX 1080 this month. GTX 1080 is also more powerful than a pair of GTX 980s running in SLI.

Other reports say that the two upcoming graphic cards have unbelievable specs. They are also speculated to be the best graphic cards on the market. GTX 1080 and 1070 are said to run on Nvidia's new Pascal GP104 architecture. The two are using the new 16nm FinFET TSMC manufacturing process. It means that they will provide more efficiency and power in comparison to the previous 28nm process found on cards of Maxwell.

Moreover, the specs of GTX 1080 are confirmed, but GTX 1070's specs have not yet been fully revealed. Here are the specs of the upcoming GeForce GTX 1080 courtesy of PC Advisor.

It seems like Nvidia is now putting pressure on AMD to release a graphics card to challenge GTX 1080 and GTX 1070. In a Venture Beat report, Jen-Hsun Huang, Nvidia chief executive, said in the GTX 1080 and 1070's announcement that the company's graphic cards are ahead of the competition than any other GPUs in the history.
