Nintendo NX and ‘The Legend of Zelda’ at E3 2016, Release Date For New Products and How to Livestream and Watch Online

Jun 14, 2016 08:52 AM EDT

This week, there is a video game convention known at E3 2016, which takes place annually at the Los Angeles Convention center.  It will be taking place during June 14-16, and Nintendo will be there to show off their products along with hundreds of other video game companies.  While Nintendo has gone out of its way to say that their next generation system, the NX, won't be there, it is very clear that the long-awaited The Legend of Zelda game will be available on display.  This is what is known about the Nintendo NX and the new The Legend of Zelda game with its release date and news from E3 2016.

There is a report on IGN that it will have the Nintendo Treehouse:Live, and it will begin on June 14 at 9 AM PST or 12 PM EST.  If it is possible to livestream or watch online the event, then it can be watched at another IGN site which will have news from Nintendo and other video game companies at E3 2016.

There is also word from My Nintendo News that GameSpot has an E3 2016 with two separate timeslots for "new Nintendo Game".  The first is on Tuesday 2:20 PM Pacific time, and then a second on Wednesday at 10:00 AM.  Considering that it has been very public knowledge that Nintendo will have the new The Legend of Zelda game on display, perhaps this is the new game.

Chances are, The Legend of Zelda game will be playable on the Wii U, as it will be released for the system that is going out of style.  With the Nintendo NX coming on March 2017, a very non-holiday release date, that probably means that the next The Legend of Zelda game will be included in a bundle with the next generation Nintendo console.

It is possible that Nintendo will go back on its word, and show off whatever the Nintendo NX looks like now.  That would make a lot of sense, as this event is one of the biggest spotlights for video games.  In the past, with the Nintendo Wii U, the company announced it during E3 2011, and then had it one display the next year's E3 2012, then release it during the holiday season of 2012.

You can check out the preview of E3 2016 on Nintendo's site, and it should have the news about the next The Legend of Zelda game, which is all over the site at the time of this writing.  The game looks very, very beautiful, and it should be a treat for all the fans of the old franchise.    There are at least 10 things that fans want from the latest Zelda offering
