Visual Concepts increases the hype for the much-anticipated NBA 2k17. The developer announces the upcoming new features of the game that will definitely love by basketball fans. The NBA 2K series is one of the most successful sports video game, and developers continue to add crazy new features in the title.

NBA 2k17's Senior Producer Erick Boenisch says their team of developers have made the "MyGM" or "MyLeague" more exciting. In the next NBA 2k game, players have the option to create all new teams and add them to the league, as per report from The Source.

Players can use either the regular 30 NBA teams or an expansion league where they can add 6 new teams which have totally unique design and attributes. Players can make personalized teams in the league either by creating them or using a pre-designed template.

With expanded team selection, it is possible to make uniquely designed organizations. If making all of team's logos is a problem, developers provided 10 pre-built fictional franchises. The pre-made teams are complete with full audio and commentary support.

Meanwhile, rumours around the internet claim NBA 2K17 will feature Rio 2016 Olympics mode. The soon-to-be-released game features Indiana Pacers star Paul George in the cover. Interestingly, George is wearing his Team USA uniform in the cover, hinting the game might have an Olympic mode.

Also, Fox Sports Australia reports the Australian National Team will be included in the NBA 2k17. The inclusion of the Australian basketball team seems to be an indication that there will be a new feature in the game. Four years ago, during the London 2012 Olympic Games, 2K Sports offered the original Dream Team in NBA 2K13.

A report from Forbes says the virtual characters on MyPlayer might appear in the Olympics. However, as of now, nothing has been confirmed about NBA 2k17 Olmypic mode rumors.

In the past several years, 2K sports and Visual Concepts have been offering a treasure chest of options to the game. That depth has helped the franchise to become a commercial success over the years.

The current NBA 2k16 reportedly sold more than 5.78 million copies across Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles, according to report from VGChartz.com. Capitalizing on Rio 2016 Olympics is a good way to boost NBA 2k17's sales.

NBA 2k17 will be released on Sept. 20 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
