"The Late Late Show" host James Corden has just revealed to E! at the 2016 Emmy Awards who his next guest on his wildly-popular show "Carpool Karaoke" might be. It is Beyoncé.

"Well you just told me that Beyoncé is coming, so yes, in that case, is the answer!" he said. "It's recording artists only and she's the one. I just want to get in that Beehive. So we'll try, we'll really try our best."

Corden's Carpool Karaoke has featured star-studded music artists including Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Selena Gomez, Gwen Stefan (and First LadyMichelle Obama).

"Carpool Karaoke" won the Emmy for variety special. Other nominees include "Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo," "The Kennedy Centers Honors," and "Lemonade."

"It's so rare for a show like ours to be given a primetime slot so early, in its infancy, really. We were very thrilled," Corden told Yahoo TV of the March Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special that celebrated his first year. "We never wanted it to just be a clip show, because so much of the content was original, like J.Lo's [Carpool Karaoke]. We said, 'Let's try to open the show with a big opening. Let's make it feel like a real event.'"

Moreover, the Emmys intro video showed Corden giving the Jimmy Kimmel a ride to host the 2016 Emmys, and the two did a karaoke.
