Are you a huge fan of Clash of Clans as well a Clash Royale? Well, if you have answered in the affirmative, some of you out there might have noticed that Clash Royale tournaments have not been the easiest to join in recent times, never mind the fact that such tournaments have increased in the excitement factor. The last update which happened in September for Clash Royale apparently rendered public tournaments as not visible, at least not until clanmates create them or one knows the name of one’s opponents. Bummer, right?

Well, here are more news concerning Clash Royale. The official Clash Royale Twitter channel did make a recent announcement, citing that there will be a spanking new tournament with each Friday, and this will kick off from November 4, 2016 onward. The reason this is made possible is because of a partnership with Meltdown Esports Bars. From here, players are able to challenge local clashers as long as it happens in at a Meltdown bar that is close by.

The spanking new tournament in Clash Royale will certainly see winners earn their keep -- with the likes of gift cards, free drinks as well as numerous different kinds of in-game prizes. How would the tournament work then? Rules have been simplified to such an extent, it can be considered as a no-brainer. Basically, only players that remain within the bar will be allowed to join the qualifying round, and out of that pool of players, the top eight players will be able to make it to the next round. There, the friendly battle will commence, as players go toe-to-toe with one another via the single-elimination bracket.

At the stage of the semi-finals of the all new Clash Royale tournament, players will then be able to indulge in the BO3 before progressing to BO5. In the final round, it will be BO7 -- depending on the availability of time, of course.

Players who are unable to make their way to a Meltdown Esports Bars within their vicinity, fret not. There is always another way of getting your competitive gaming time in -- through the form of an online open Clash Royale tournament. In this tournament, there will be some pretty worthy in-game prizes to boot, and one will be able change their decks freely, without any kind of bans enforced in the tournament, too. Those who place first will be on the receiving end of a Google Play or a 25€ iTunes gift card.

Apart from that, it seems that Halloween being so near to us would also be a time for companies to take advantage of the situation. Clash Royale will be offering the Legendary Graveyard Card which will debut this Halloween. The Legendary Graveyard Card has gotten fans all fired up, simply because this has been touted to be one of the highly sought after deck cards to date, since it will be able to cast a spell to the player's opponents -- and a successful casting would result in your opponent losing a skeleton every half a second.
