Prince Harry stands up for her American girlfriend Meghan Markle amidst the media storm putting her race, color and sexy TV role on the spotlight. Markle is of African-American heritage, with a white father and an African-American mother. She is also known for her character as Rachel Zane on the drama series "Suits."

Prince Harry and Markle have been dating for a few months now when online and print media began to take notice and released defamatory statements about Markle. In an official press release, Kensington Palace highly condemns these actions, stating that the abuse "has been very public-(from) the smear on the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment pieces; and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments." The statement also confirmed that even Markle's mother is being harassed by official media and the paparazzi.

It caught the public by surprise when the usually timid Kensington Palace public relations officials released this strong statement. While some netizens commend the statement saying it's a laudable gesture to be standing up against racial discrimination; others see it as completely unnecessary with being in the limelight, this should be something expected.

Sunday Express' "Royal World Exclusive" feature on Markle proved to be a breaking point when the tabloid revealed the actress present on Pornhub. The news snippet caught the world by storm, and eventually the rumor proved to be a disappointment: Markle's "sex video" is in fact a sexy scene for her role in "Suits." The "sex video" was also dubbed as "Harry Girl's on Pornhub."

The Sun featured Markle on its front page with the headlines, "Princess Pushy" and "Exclusive: Meghan Shallow." The Daily Mail also had Markle as its headline with the byline, "Harry's been at new love's flat all week-and she's met Charles." On the other hand, Sunday Mirror puts a different light on the Markle headline, with the script, "Prince Harry Butler: She's the One."

Markle is proud of her heritage, describing herself as "biracial." She was born and raised in California, and currently lives in Toronto. She is a global ambassador for World Vision Canada, and has also worked for the United Nations Women for the HeforShe gender equality movement.

The three-year difference between the two, Prince Harry at 32 and Markle at 35, also caused a stir in the media. Prince Harry is clearly distraught about the situation and fears for his girlfriend's situation.
