Steam Autumn And Winter Sale Dates 2016 leaked, More Changes Coming Your Way

They say opportunity knocks but once. While that might be true in certain situations, it is not true all the time. Those who have missed out on the recent Steam Halloween Sale do not have to mope around the house as though your Presidential candidate has just lost in the bid to sit in the White House. There is an opportunity for redemption in the form of the autumn and winter Steam sales -- with the dates for those sales having leaked out. There should be no excuse for missing out on the Steam autumn and winter sales now that you have been well informed in advance!

Lashman made use of Twitter to leak this particularly delicious bit of information, sharing forum messages that depict the actual dates for both of Steam’s Autumn and Winter sales. The screenshot as you can see in this story via the tweet points out November 23rd and December 22nd as pivotal dates to mark on your respective calendars, be they digital or traditional old school paper types. The Steam Autumn Sale is set to kick off on November 23 at 9:50am PT, coming to an end on November 29 at 10:10am PT. Don’t you think that the timing is a wee bit weird, as opposed to kicking things off at midnight on a particular date which would make it easier for regular Joes to remember?

As for the Steam Winter Sale, we have not forgotten about that, either, it will supposedly happen on December 22 at 9:50am PT, with its run coming to an end on January 2, 2017, at 10:10am PT.

Do take note that the November 23 and December 22 dates happen to be the way that Valve goes about doing things on Steam, since these events tend to happen right before the frenzied beginning of both Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. Needless to say, everyone loves to have sales: and the Steam Autumn Sale would be another golden opportunity for you to pick up games that you have missed before due to busyness or work/life commitments on the cheap, providing more entertainment value for your hard earned money.

Of course, some might prefer to look forward to the Steam Winter Sale, as that is the one particular sale that majority of Steam owners look forward to every single year. The sheer amount of discount offered as well as percentage of price slashed can be downright unbelievable at times, but if you were really on the lookout for quality games on the cheap, then it would do you well to look no further than Steam’s Summer Sale.

Right now, Steam has more than 7 million concurrent users. This is what they have to say about providing more discounts with the upcoming sales, "In past sale events, we’ve asked for two discounts—a duration discount that runs for the length of the sale, and a feature discount that runs in the event that a game is featured on the front page. This year, to optimize the sale for customers and to allow us to feature and recommend your products in more ways to more customers, we’re asking for just one discount, to run the length of the sale. We’ll still be highlighting top games on the front page for 24-48 hour spans, but those products will stay at their most competitive discount, before and after being featured.”
