The Carolina Panthers have failed to live up to the hype from the previous season when they rivaled the New England Patriots of Tom Brady with their almost spotless record and almost beat the Denver Broncos under Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler. With their lackluster performance this NFL season, wherein they are seen lagging behind the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Cam Newton team may have lost their chance at proving their critics wrong and bringing home the Super Bowl. However, many believe that a Colin Kaepernick contract with the Carolina Panthers would definitely boost their chances.

The San Francisco 49ers have been struggling with their quarterback posts which included problems with the Colin Kaepernick contract and the lackluster leadership of Blaine Gabbert. With the season seemingly lost for the Santa Clara squad, fans are calling for ways to save the career of their controversial quarterback. That is, a Colin Kaepernick trade to the Carolina Panthers is suggested to the San Francisco 49ers.

"That's always hard to tell. It can be pieces here and there that make a huge difference, and it can also be the culture of this team changing, which it needs to. We have to be able to create our opportunities and go out and create wins for our team," explained Colin Kaepernick of the situation of the San Francisco 49ers and their potential to become Super Bowl champions.

Cam Newton and Colin Kaepernick have been comparable in terms of their struggles in the NFL in the past years. With these in mind, a number of fans believe that the San Francisco 49ers star would be better off with the Carolina Panthers instead of staying as co-quarterback with Blaine Gabbert. Despite their obstacles this season, it looks like the Kelvin Benjamin team remains positive.

"We play for each other. We play for pride. We play because God gives us the chance to play the game that we love every day," Tre Boston of their team.

The Carolina Panthers free safety added, "Look, sometimes in life things don't go your way. Sometimes you don't make the playoffs. ... But there are people watching us. Kids watching us. How are they going to 'Keep Pounding' if we don't? Yeah, we didn't start the season the way we wanted. The season didn't go the way we wanted. But we're going to finish it the way we wanted."

Given the tumultuous relationship of Colin Kaepernick not only with the San Francisco 49ers management but also with some of his teammates, fans of the quarterback think that the culture in the Carolina Panthers locker room would help him. What do you think? Should the Cam Newton squad consider a Colin Kaepernick contract?
