Hundreds attended the memorial mass to the 1993 truck bombing of the World Trade Center, at the St. Peter’s Church in New York, Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004. 11 years ago, Islamic militants detonated a bomb in a parking garage at the WTC, killing six people and injuring hundreds. On September 11, 2001, Islamic radicals attacked again, this time completely destroying the tower. The only fragment from the memorial fountain dedicated to the victims of the 1993 truck bombing as found in the rubble of the WTC following the 9-11 attacks was displayed inside the St. Peter’s Church throughout the service.
