• Christians Should Stand with Homosexuals Against Radical Islamists, Say Benham Brothers

  Christian entrepreneurs and twins, Jason and David Benham, said in a video posted on Facebook Sunday, "now is our time to step up in Christian love and stand in the gap" between the gay community and "Radical Islamists who are targeting them." The Benhams were commenting about their beliefs after the shooting massacre at the Pulse gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla., Saturday evening.

  

• Christian Human Rights' Activist Jailed in Turkey, Charged With Terrorist Collaboration

  Assyrian human rights activist Sawo Oshana Ide reportedly has been in a Turkey prison since Feb. 18, accused of "being a member of an armed (yet unnamed) organization," states Gatestone Institute representatives. He was placed in three prisons in the first 45 days until his first trial took place. His second trial will be held June 16.

• Christina Grimmie, Former 'The Voice' and 'In Christ Alone' Singer, Shot Dead After Concert

  Christian and pop musician Christina Grimmie, a former competitor on "The Voice," was shot after a man approached her with two guns as she signed autographs after an Orlando, Fla., concert Friday night, police said. The 22-year-old singer died early Saturday morning. The suspect fatally shot himself as well, after Grimmie's brother tackled him, according to authorities.
