On September 6, 2005 Cosmic Light North America Special Service Team finished their tour of evangelism, which lasted for a month. On Aug 3, Professor Peter Lin (Lin Zhiping) from Taipei visited San Francisco at the San Francisco Alliance Church retreat, UC Berkeley Campus Fellowship, restaurant fellowship, and various other sharing fellowships. On Aug 16, several others joined the trip. On this tour, they visited San Francisco, Sacramento, Fresno, LA, Houston and Dallas in Texas, where roughly 30 gatherings were held V Church Evangelism Retreat, Seminars, Sunday Services, Sunday School, Restaurant fellowships, and they used praise songs, sharing, testimony, magic to reveal the Lord's glory and leading people to the Lord.
2006 will be the 200th anniversary since Robert Morrison arrived in China as the first missionary, so in some of the mission seminars Professor Lin specially shared the mission experience of China missionaries, which was filled with hardships and sweetness that brought much tears from the audiences; besides this, because family matter is an important subject, Taiwan Christian University, Tunghai University, professor Chunan Jien delivered deep analysis, lively deliverance that brought the endless applause, laughter from the audiences.
Sister Tsai, a member of Cosmic Light North America Professional Service Team expressed, "The 30-days of tense scheduling journey has ended. The road that we took, the people who we met, to us, there is only one wish, which is like Cosmic Light Motto - I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings - 1 Corinthians 9:23."
