Baptist World Aid, sponsored by the Baptist World Alliance, sent $10,000 for relief efforts among the Iraqi refugees. As the war intensifies, so does the likelihood of a massive humanitarian disaster. The Jordan Baptist Convention says they plan to use some of its own funds and gifts from their churches to help with relief efforts. The money will be used to aid those coming to the refugee camps in Jordan as well as those Iraqi families that attend their churches.
