Nearly one thousand Latin American youth and teens are hearing God's call to mission service at Panama's first Urbana-style conference. Using the theme "It Latin America Mission's Ken MacHarg said, "Using the theme, "It's time to respond", participants seek further training and confirmation of their call to service. Speakers challenge the youth to search for the true Christ and to throw away the shallow misleading caricatures of Jesus. Workshops for children ministries, university evangelism, camping, theological education and pastoral ministries were offered.
