Christmastime tour with Michael begins Nov.28

When Michael W. Smith celebrates, he goes full-throttle. Just taking a breath from his multiple-venue sell-out “Celebration Tour,” which commemorated his 20 years in Christian music, he heads on another. For the Nov.-Dec. “Christmastime Tour,” Michael will be join special guests Point of Grace and The Katinas to visit 15 cities, starting from Duluth, Ga., and ending in his hometown of Nashville, Tenn.

It seems like the fans won’t be the only ones anticipating the “Christmastime Tour. “I love this time of year, and I especially love Christmas music,” comments Smith. “This tour is really special for me. To be on stage with great singers like Point of Grace and The Katinas is overwhelming. Often, during the evening, I stop singing and just listen; I think I enjoy the evening more than anybody else in the building! What a joy to celebrate Christ’s birth with these good friends.”

For Point of Grace's Terry Jones, this will be one of her last tours before she retires from Point of Grace. After the Christmastime tour, Jones plans to perform with Point of Grace until March of 2004 where she will then focus her on family life more.
