This new Tooth and Nail Records' band, Falling Up, debuts with Crashings, and reveals new talent. This group has a mix of sounds, it's metal with punk, plus a mix of other genres. It's a mix fo Kutless, Linkin Par, Thousand Foot Krutch, and Simple Plan.

This album has a mix of rap, rock, and modern worship. The lead vocalist, Jessy Ribordy, has a tenor voice that is perfect for punk, but he stretches it and it works fair for less punk-style songs. And lyric wise, the band conveys clearly the purpose for their music. They do not hide their faith, which is admirable. The overall message is: God is always there for you, and all you have to do is reach out and embrace Him.

In the album, "Jackson Five" is clearly the headline song. Bringing in guests such as Paul Wright, Ryan Clark, Kutless' John Micah Sumrall, and Ben Hulbert, this album has a rockin' sound. The best thing is their versatility through the 12 tracks, all of it is different. This mix makes it an excellent new rock album for your cravings.
