To encourage the composers of chinese-contemporary-christian-music, Media Evangelism Limited (MEL) organized a programmed tilted “Global Online Election on Chinese Contemporary Gospels". The organization urged all Chinese christians in the world to participate in the election.

The gospels are limited to those published between 1974 and 2004, in Chinese or Mandarin. Votes are made online through their official site.

The election is divided into two stages. From 28th of Feb to 7th of March, the voter can enter the official site of MEL and input the details of his or her favourite chinese gospel. Among all the gospels, top 30 with the most votes will be picked and announced. Then the second round takes place from 8th March till the end of March. Among the 30, People will vote and finally top 10 will be found.

The final result is expected to be released in early April.
