Jacob's Road Generates Rave Reviews

Jacob's Road, a duo who made their debut last March, has been passionately sharing the Gospel with those who want to listen. Since their debut titled "The Journey", they have been compared to their mainstream counterparts like 10,000 Maniacs and Natalie Merchant.

This band has been getting much airplay and attention, though it is fully independent. Carrie Coffey and Mark Robey recorded their own album, and did finishing touches with the help of producer Sam Mizell. They had their first debut on television on the Canadian television show "100 Huntley Street" produced by Crossroads Christian Communications on March 18th.

"Our music is about what we believe, and how what we believe makes a difference in our walk through life," says Mark. "We’re certainly not ashamed to stand up and talk about how much we’ve been transformed through Jesus."

"Our music is something that people can identify with," adds Carrie. "And hopefully it will make someone seek out God in a new way."

Jacob's Road will be touring this summer with comedian Daniel Hooper, who is best known for his work with various cast members from "Saturday Night Live".
