Minno, a leading Christian streaming platform for families, has announced the upcoming release of the first-ever American Sign Language (ASL) Bible series designed specifically for children. The ASL adaptation of its widely acclaimed animated program, Laugh and Grow Bible for Kids, will premiere on August 8, 2025.

According to CP, the series aims to make the gospel more accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing children, offering biblical storytelling in a format that reflects their primary language and cultural expression.

“This is the first children’s Bible series in American Sign Language that we’re aware of,” said Erick Goss, CEO and co-founder of Minno. “Every child—whether they communicate through ASL or another language—deserves to experience the gospel in a way that is meaningful and relatable to them.”

The ASL series is being developed in partnership with Bridge Multimedia, a New York-based firm known for its work with inclusive media and its collaborations with organizations such as PBS Kids and Google. This initiative is part of Minno’s broader effort to become the world’s most accessible Christian media platform for families.

Expanded Access and Global Reach

The Laugh and Grow Bible for Kids currently includes 42 episodes and several 30-minute specials. The ASL series will launch with three of those specials—In the Beginning, Daniel and the Lions, and The Family of Jesus—with additional episodes expected to follow. Audio-only versions of the series will also be made available to further increase accessibility.

In addition to the ASL version, Minno has recently released a Spanish-language version of the series and plans to launch a Portuguese version later this fall. A new bilingual preschool series, Guillermo & Will, is also scheduled to premiere, supporting Spanish-English language development and biblical literacy among younger viewers.

Significant Growth and Industry Impact

Minno’s platform has seen substantial growth in recent years. Its subscriber-based streaming service (SVOD) has tripled in size, positioning it among the top 1% of U.S. entertainment streaming apps. The company’s YouTube channel has surpassed 1 million subscribers, with over 122 million views in the past year alone.

“Our vision is to provide families around the world with high-quality, gospel-centered content at the moments that matter most,” Goss added. “By partnering with theologians, child development experts, and award-winning creatives, we’re setting a new standard for Christian children’s media.”

A Step Toward Inclusive Gospel Engagement

The release of this ASL Bible series reflects a growing recognition of the need for inclusive ministry in children’s spiritual education. As Minno continues to expand its multilingual and multi-format offerings, it reaffirms its commitment to helping every child encounter the love and truth of Jesus—regardless of language, ability, or background.

The ASL edition of Laugh and Grow Bible for Kids will be available to stream on Minno beginning August 8, 2025.
