Northern Records' Monarch has finished the band's debut record, The Grandeur That Was Rome, but the release date is yet to be determined.

The band started out with Brennan Strawn as the lead singer and guitarist with Brett Zoric following stride with piano and keyboards. The band was able to seal the deal producing music when Aaron Strawn joined as a drummer and Joe Salmond added bass. The vision of the quartet is to make something that hasn't been done before.

"We are such a new band, and there are no old faithful or tried-and-true methods of writing and arranging for us yet. We hope that the newness of the band and the writing relationships will help us to create a fresh product," said Zoric.

The debut record was recorded with Andrew D. Prickett of Holly Nelson and The Violet Burning. What to expect: influences from Sigur Ros, Air, the Doves, Beatles, John Donne, and Matisse, to name a few. All inspiration they have received from music listened to during their childhoods or from playing in worship bands have only helped stimulate the band's music development.

"We strive to have an uncompromising effort to ensure our musical creativity, vitality, and relevance at all times," said the band.
