The leader of South & North Korea potato apportionment program, Pastor Jung Gil Hong supplanted North Korea with 1,446.5 ton of potatoes from the potato farm in the Maritime Provinces of Siberia.

This event marks the third year of the campaign since its inception in 2000.

The potatoes are sent by full 24 rails from Ussurrisk station to Chung Jin station in Ham Kyung Puk Do and delivered to the Cho Sun Christian League.

The program helps children who barely manage to meet their ends and Koreans who were removed from Central Asia to the Maritime Province of Siberia.

A person concerned of South & North Korea sharing campaign said, "The campaign helps North Korean children who barely manage to meet their ends and Koreans who were removed from Central Asia to the Maritime Province of Siberia. Such business promotes unity between North and South and the citizens are able to add to their national pride."

And he also explained, "we offered potato seeds this Spring and Korean cultivated potatoes in Mikhairovka farm in the Maritime Provinces. I expected to send 750 tons but with Co. E-Land and others' sponsorship, we could send potatoes including the ones cultivated from Korea and Russia."
