Brazil --World Vision has been helping Brazilian farmers build agricultural businesses through a program called "Fair Trade". Last year, Brazilian farmers exported nearly 80,000 pounds of produce to Europe and Latin America through the World Vision program. The Inter-American Development Bank recently acclaimed World Vision's work and success. Faith-driven World Vision works to help the world's children realize their God-given potential by tackling poverty.
World Vision is a Christian organization existing to help families and their children realize their hopes and dreams, even when they must overcome difficult circumstances to do so. Time and again the World Vision family marshals full-scale relief efforts in response to crises, while continuing to carry out their ongoing development activities in these and other nations. World Vision staff members consider it a privilege to represent Jesus Christ in its work with people impacted by wars, poverty, or disaster. World Vision has 11,200 committed men and women, working in 88 countries to serve 1.3 million sponsored children, supported by more than a million worldwide donors.
