The Presbyterian Church of Taiwan launches mission convention for the youth.

This summer, the General Youth Assembly Committee of the PCT will host the annual gathering for young people. The event will be held at the Chang-Jung Christian University in Tainan. For the convention, youths from the PCT and affiliated churches overseas will attend a series of sessions led keynote speakers. The theme for the gathering is titled, “Who am I.” This theme is based on Peter’s confession in Caesarea Philippi as recorded in Matthew 16:13-16.

The keynote speakers will discuss about current trends, situations, issues, and concerns associated with the mission fields primarily in Taiwan. In addition, other speakers will comment about the rise of the information era and mass communication, and their influence on mission work. The convention will also feature speakers who will talk about current generational gaps between the younger and older generation in Taiwan. Other topics involving ministry work in churches will be covered as well.

The event is scheduled to be held from July 14 to July 17.
