Thousands of South Korean Christians Pray for National Unity

South Korea -- Thousands of South Korean Christians held a mass devotional service on Saturday, April 3, to pray for national unification and a fair election ahead of the April 15 National Assembly election. Last month, the S. Korean National Assembly impeached the nation’s president for the first time in history. President Roh Moo-Hyun was impeached on charges of election law violation and incompetence. He is currently waiting for the South Korean supreme court's final decision. Forty eight percent of the estimated 48 million South Koreans are Christians.
