On its third anniversary on August 2, Clash of Clans said Friday it is giving away free one Gem Boost for one whole week to all its loyal fans and allow them to build up on their resources. Helsinki, Finland-based game developer Supercell announced, "Happy Birthday Clash of Clans! Our favorite mobile game turns 3 years old on 2nd of August and we're celebrating it with a 1 Gem Boost for 1 whole week! Just in case you didn't read that post on how to restart the boost and get it twice."

Clash of Clans has been the most popular and successful and is the first mobile game that has changed the way mobile gaming works. The game has attracted global fans and after three years, Clash of Clans expanded about 10 times in functions and players. The popularity of the game enables it to attract new players every day.

Only recently, Supercell upgraded the game to allow players will enjoy playing Clash of Clans and have a better experience, said Tech Times. Aside from the free gem, Clash of Clans is introducing a new spell factory for a dark elixir that is expected to make the game more exciting.

The free gem boost will benefit Clash of Clans players with a level nine Town Hall because it will allow them to double their productions in six gold mines, six elixir collectors and two dark elixir drills with 14 gem.

The more advances players with a level nine Town Hall will have the benefit of increasing their productions twice in seven gold mines, seven elixir collections and three dark elixir drills with just 17 gems. "Once users spend those gems to kick off the boost, the one-week timer starts on each of the collectors, showing users when the doubled production will reach its end," Tech Times said.

The game's official web site further explained, "The first step in the process is starting an upgrade on whichever Mine, Collector, or Drill you want to boost again -this is where max level Mines, Collectors, and Drills cause a problem.:

It added that the gem boost will end after you begin upgrading on a boosted mine, collector or drill. Timing is key for the boost, the web site said, "You will want to do this step at the last moment possible, but before the 1 Gem boost option disappears, in order to maximize your profit."
