Having said that, here is some good news to kick off the month of December for all you Marvel TV miniseries on Netflix fans out there. For starters, we do know that Luke Cage has recently been confirmed to obtain a renewal for a second season.

The Luke Cage Netflix series has garnered plenty of rave reviews since it was shown to the masses not too long ago. In the TV miniseries, Mike Colter plays the role of the nigh indestructible ex-convict who goes about on a crime fighting spree in Harlem, after gaining his newfound superpowers through a botched experiment. Ah well, this goes to show that there is always room for redemption regardless of where one’s situation in life is. The first season started off with a bang, and you could also say that it ended with a bang on a cliffhanger note. Hence, it remains to be seen whether there will be a second season in tow, leaving fans of the TV miniseries on the edge of their seats and biting their nails. Well, all of the fretting and worrying can come to an end now, as there is a new announcement that mentioned how Luke Cage Season 2 has been confirmed, and Harlem’s streets of crime ought to be on the lookout just in case they get busted by Luke Cage while dealing with some illicit drugs or illegal rackets.

Luke Cage Season 2 should be essential in the development of the overall storyline in the Marvel universe even on the small screen, when there are other Marvel superheroes such as Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist who will make up part of the upcoming The Defenders miniseries over on Netflix.

Having said that, the standalone Iron Fist series is touted to debut officially this coming March 17, 2017. The Iron Fist TV miniseries will thrust Finn Jones’ Danny Rand into the limelight. Danny Rand grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth, being the son of a billionaire, but his world came crumbling down after his father was murdered. However, what makes Danny stand apart from other billionaires whose parent(s) have been murdered would be the fact that he has picked up the right to be powered by a mystical fighting force.

Apart from that, here is one more bit of news that will concern Jessica Jones, the TV miniseries that stars Krysten Ritter who plays the role of a young woman. Her superhero career, however, was cut short because of a tragedy on a personal level. It is nice to know that this miniseries has just been introduced on two platforms where you need not download anything at all -- DVD and of course, the higher resolution Blu-ray format.
