A&E's most popular reality television show, "Duck Dynasty," is set to premiere its fifth season on Wednesday night and will introduce some additional Robertson family members.
The Season Five premiere will feature two new additions to the show; first, Rebecca Robertson, a former foreign exchange student from Taiwan whom Willie and Korie took in as their own. Rebecca currently runs the Duck & Dressing boutique with Korie, which had its grand opening in December. The other Robertson is somewhat more of a mystery character, another family member who seems to be bearded as well. In fact, Rebecca posted a picture of herself and one bearded "John David" on the Duck & Dressing blog, captioned, "Really John David?!? *hint hint season five*." Whomever he is, the mystery Robertson seems to have the ability to rub Jase the wrong way - "Pigs will have to fly before I take orders from this guy," Jase says defiantly of him in A&E's promotional video.
According to USA Today, "Duck Dynasty" is currently the number two cable television show, with an average of 13.4 million viewers per week. Fun times are sure to be ahead with the extended Robertson family in Season Five; A&E released a sneak peek video of the season, which touts a burger cook-off competition between Jase and Willie, "Mac-Si-ver," and a sleepover with Phil, Mama Kay, and their not-so-quiet (but quite cute) granddaughters.
The "Duck Dynasty" premiere is scheduled for 9 p.m. CST on A&E this Wednesday, January 15.
