After several delays, Developer Microids confirmed its point-and-click adventure Syberia 3 will be become available early next year, probably February or March. The game developer decided to postpone the game to further improve its story and give it "more depth." Now, here's the latest update about Syberia 3 release date, gameplay and rumors on the web.

Back in 2012, Microids initially said it would release Syberia 3 sometime in 2014. And that release window moved to 2016 - December 1 specifically. For the second time, the game developer postponed the game's release again to first quarter of 2017.

Since its first installment, the Syberia franchise earned many followers from around the globe. In a report from PC Gamer, VP of Microids Elliot Grassiano said the delay was actually due to the huge reception of gamers. He admitted the development team really wants to satisfy the fans by adding more content in the next Syberia game.

Furthermore, Grassiano said the team is now working hard to bring "more depth" to Kate Walker's new adventure. The team is also expanding the in-game universe with new quests and characters.

For the part of Syberia creator Benoit Sokal, he expressed his dismay regarding the game's delayed launching. He was disappointed because he really wants to release Syberia 3 as soon as the storyline is finished. However, he pointed out the delay is for the betterment of the game and Microids does not want to release a half-baked title.

Syberia 3 takes players in an enchanting, mysterious universe that is full exciting adventures. Written by Sokal, the third Syberia game has gripping storyline and is populated by a cast of interesting characters.

With brand new tale, the developers also claim the new installment is different from the first two Syberia games. Plus, its new features are multiplied by Sokal's unparalleled artistic direction. There are also real-time 3D puzzles and mysteries.

Meanwhile, while waiting for Syberia 3, let's see what reviewers say about the existing Syberia 2. According to IGN, the second game in the franchise has realistic character animation and neat user interface. Additionally, it is a refreshing game that is rich in narrative, gameplay and style.

For those who want to pre-order Syberia 3 now, head to Steam's website for more info. The game is now available there for $40.
